COMPANY HISTORY
1990 - Paramount Plastics inc. was founded by Larry Scales. Throughout the 1990's the Company continued to grow adding customers and industries to it's portfolio. From a humble 1,200 square foot facility and a vision of building a world class manufacturing Company, Larry developed the culture, quality and customer service excellence that enabled him to grow Paramount to where it is today.
2000 - The Company moved to its current location in Lockport, Illinois with convenient access to interstate 80 and interstate 55. A modern 140,000 square foot facility was designed for optimum efficiency and productivity. Molding capacity had reached 24 presses ranging from 60 to 2,000 tons.
2009 - With a desire to take Paramount to the next level, the Company was strategically sold to a group of industry veterans and was renamed Paramount Plastics LLC. Larry Scales remains a partner, an active member of the operations, and vision of excellence that came from our roots.
Today - Paramount continues to maintain it's core values, but through the addition of experienced and highly technical team members, we are adding new technologies and services to exceed our customers expectations.
